We are looking for an instructor for the Rovaniemi family group home for a permanent employment contract to create and develop services for children who have come to the country without a guardian. The Rovaniemi family group home is intended for children who have come to Finland as minors without a guardian and have received a residence permit or temporary protection. The family group home provides age-appropriate care, education and nurturing, in which the staff supports the growth and holistic development of the child and youth with a resource-centered approach. Children live in the family group home until they turn 18 or their guardian arrives in Finland. The instructor's job description includes, among other things: - Building a safe and professional customer relationship and responding to customer-specific needs - Guidance of children and youth according to age level, e.g. in matters related to school, studies, management of everyday life and hobby activities - Educational tasks - General home care tasks of the unit, such as cooking The instructor's work is three-shift work. In the terms of the employment contract, we follow the collective agreement of the private social services sector. The work requires a driver's license (B). We hope from you: As a qualification requirement for the position is a suitable degree in the social, health or education field, such as a practical nurse or youth and community instructor. The work is done in a multidisciplinary team, so we hope the applicant has good cooperation skills and the ability to apply the lessons brought with them from education and working life. The instructor's work in a family group home requires initiative, responsibility and a solution-oriented approach. We value work experience with children, youth and immigrants and the ability to act constructively also in challenging customer situations. In the work, there is an opportunity to utilize one's own hobby expertise. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
