We are seeking a leading social worker for a permanent position in the social work and guidance responsibility unit for the southwestern service area. Work begins on October 1, 2026, or by agreement. The responsibility unit for social work and guidance for working-age adults includes the social and crisis emergency service and working-age official work service units, as well as work units for inclusion-supporting services and the promotion of financial functional capacity. As a leading social worker, you will serve as the supervisor for the southwestern area in the teams of personnel performing official social work and guidance. In addition to you, another leading social worker also works in the official social work and guidance for working-age adults in the southwestern area. The eligibility requirement for the position is the qualification of a social worker according to Section 7 of the Act on Social Care Professionals (817/2015). We expect an inspiring and committed approach to work. You can lead operations and personnel responsibly and have good communication and interaction skills. The position also requires expertise in the application of legislation and the coordination of services. Previous experience in social work and supervisory roles is considered an advantage. The position-specific salary is €4,606.36/month plus an availability supplement of €300/month. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. A 6-month probationary period applies. Regarding staff vaccine protection, we follow the vaccination protection required by the Infectious Diseases Act.
