Substitute Teachers

We require Swedish-language substitutes for class teachers in grades 1–6, subject teachers in grades 7–9 and for high school. Solbrinkens School (grades 1–6) is located in Laurentius House in Lojo center and has about 70 students divided into 4 base groups. Virkby School (grades 1–6) is in Virkby, with about 45 students divided into 3 base groups. Källhagens School (grades 7–9) and Virkby Gymnasium are also located in Virkby. We have a recurring need for substitutes, both for short placements and several-week assignments. The substitute need can arise with very short notice, even the same morning. You must be able to speak Swedish to substitute. All substitutes must be at least 18 years old. We wish that you have education or study place in the area, a secondary education diploma (gymnasium or institute level) or experience in the industry. In particular we are looking for eager and motivated substitutes who are interested in teaching tasks and suited for the assignment. A police criminal background check under the Act (504/2002) will be presented when you meet the responsible person at the respective school or later at an agreed time. If you are interested in vacancies, fill out an application and sign up for our substitute register. If you have not yet registered in Kuntarekry, the system will ask you to register first. Then you can log in and fill out the application. If you already created a username in the system, use it when logging in. Save your username and password. We read applications regularly and contact the applicant to arrange a meeting. In connection with a meeting we verify your identity, original diplomas and work certificates, and any other certificates.
