About the role

We are seeking a nurse for a permanent position in HUS Youth Psychiatry at the Raasepori youth psychiatry clinic starting 1.10.2026 or by agreement. The main place of operation is located in the Raasepori mental health center in Ekenäs, satellite reception points are located in Karjaa and Hanko. Our team is bilingual, meaning we work in both Finnish and Swedish. The unit provides outpatient services of specialized youth psychiatric care at the clinic and day unit mainly for young people aged 13–17 in the Raasepori, Hanko, Siuntio and Inkoo regions. The examination and treatment of the young person is carried out with the young person and their family and network. In addition to nurse reception work, the nurse's job description includes guiding groups and sometimes outreach activities in the young person's everyday environment. Some patient and network meetings are carried out as remote visits. To support nursing work, we offer comprehensive orientation and HUS's good training and development opportunities. In HUS Raasepori youth psychiatry, there is a doctor, eight nurses, two psychologists, two occupational therapists and a social worker. The ward manager and assistant ward manager are shared with Lohja youth psychiatry. If necessary, we also have the services of a physiotherapist, exercise therapist and nutrition therapist to support the treatment of young people. Ward secretary services are also available to us. Successful performance of the task requires the ability to work independently and make decisions, good cooperation and interaction skills, flexibility and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary working group and at our various operating points.
