Early Childhood Educator

Temporary position as a childcare worker in early childhood education in Joensuu. The team is supportive, innovative and caring, with professional colleagues and supervisors. The role involves interacting with children, planning and implementing activities, and contributing to ongoing development of the daycare. The successful candidate will speak Finnish well and hold the appropriate qualification under the Finnish Child Day Care Act (e.g., practical nurse focusing on children and youth, child caretaker or child supervisor). Knowledge of child medicine administration is a plus. The position is a temporary assignment in the Marjala Daycare Center for a group of 3–5-year-olds. Work time is 38.25 hours per week. A trial period applies. An employment ban on smoking workplaces is in effect. The application period ends 13 August 2026 at 15:00.
