About the role

Linnasmäen opisto seeks a Finnish as a Second Language (S2) teacher who will also teach work-life skills and job-search guidance, provide guidance for on-the-job learning, and fulfill group supervision duties. The position is a fixed-term contract from 1 September 2026 to 10 January 2027. Teaching is part of TUVA, a training program for students in multilingual qualification pathways. Students are at language level A1.3–A2. The job is a full-time position, and the collective agreement followed is the Private Education Sector Collective Agreement. We require the teacher to have qualifications as a Finnish language teacher or a Finnish-specialized class teacher or a special education teacher. Experience in S2 teaching, immigrant education, or teaching in work-life education is considered advantageous.
