Carrus Delta Oy has been a Finnish bus body factory since 1935, operating in close cooperation with Volvo Bussar AB. The company is one of Europe's oldest body manufacturers, and its products include the Volvo 9700 and Volvo 9700 DD. Approximately 200 professionals from various fields work at the body factory in Lieto. Mchanical Designer – join us in building the buses of the future Do you want to see your own handiwork in traffic across Europe? We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a permanent position at the Lieto factory to strengthen our growing design team. What you will do in this role In this position, you will design modern buses as part of Finnish top-tier expertise. The work includes both developing new solutions and implementing customer-specific customizations in an international operating environment. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the design related to bus body structures and equipment. The role combines technical expertise, practical product development, and collaboration with various functions. Your working days will include, among other things: - Designing body structure and equipment solutions - Selection of components and equipment - Documentation and maintenance of structures - 3D design in product development and customer projects - Collaboration with production and other experts - Developing new technical solutions for customer needs What we hope for You may be an experienced design professional or a future maker at the beginning of your career.
