We are seeking a permanent Swimming Supervisor/Instructor to join the Veteli Sports Center and swimming hall. The role includes lifeguard duties, swimming instruction, water aerobics and possibly other fitness group activities, as well as communication and marketing, event planning and implementation, organizational tasks, facility booking and invoicing, and participation in planning and development of the sports center and swimming hall operations. The job requires good interpersonal skills, positivity, proactivity, organizational ability and responsibility, as well as basic IT skills. Qualifications include a physical education qualification in the field or a related applicable qualification; additional credit if you hold SUH lifeguard and/or swimming instructor qualifications. The lifeguard test swim will likely be in spring 2027. First aid training and experience in lifeguarding/instruction/training groups are valued. The base salary is €2315.11 per month with potential experience-based allowances. A six-month probationary period applies. A police background check for working with children must be provided within 30 days of starting.
