Senior Lawyer – Payments, Account & Open Banking Do you want to help shape the future of payment solutions in a Nordic bank with short decision paths, high ambitions, and a strong customer focus? We are now looking for an experienced and business-oriented lawyer who wants to take a key role in the law for payment services, payment accounts, card payments, and open banking. Your responsibilities: - Review, draft, and negotiate complex agreements, terms, and other legal documents related to the bank's payment and account operations. - Provide qualified legal advice on payment services, card payments, open banking, and related areas. - Contribute to the development of new products, services, and digital customer solutions. - Monitor, analyze, and implement new regulation in the payment area, including PSR, PSD3, and other relevant EU legislation. - Represent the legal function in strategic initiatives, change projects, and cross-functional working groups. - Represent the bank in external industry forums, interest organizations, and relevant networks. You will have the opportunity to work across several jurisdictions as we have customers in both the Finnish and Swedish markets, as well as other international law often linked to retail banking law. As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and confident in your profession. You combine legal precision with good judgment and find it easy to collaborate with people from different parts of the business. Your background: We see that you have a law degree or equivalent university degree as well as several years of experience in legal work within banking, financial services, or other regulated activities. The internal working language is Swedish and you need to have good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Finnish is a merit. Joining us: The department consists of 12 lawyers.
