Practical Nurse

You will work in a cozy 24-hour residential unit housing 15 adults with intellectual disabilities. Your work consists of versatile nursing care, guidance, and activity services. You will be responsible for the clients' holistic well-being and medication management. Some clients receive nutrition via PEG tube, providing an opportunity to learn how to support clients with more demanding care needs. The work is based on a 3-shift rotation. The unit is located near the center of Lieto, with good transport links and accessible facilities. Valid medication permits, experience in working with intellectual disabilities, and knowledge of various communication methods and support signs are considered an advantage. The most important things are an open attitude and a brisk work ethic. Eligibility requirement is a vocational upper secondary qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level degree in the field.
