Early childhood education teacher, welcome to our warm-hearted daycare center! Daycare Miska-talo (www.miskatalo.fi) is a small, 42-place, home-like daycare center where children can grow and learn in a safe and warm atmosphere. Multiculturalism and community are important values to us: here, every child feels like an important part of our community; Miska-talo is like a second home to them. As an association-based daycare, we have no pressure for financial profitability; our primary goal is high-quality early childhood education and the holistic well-being of the children. What do we offer? The small size of our daycare enables close cooperation and individual support for every child. We are looking for an early childhood education teacher for the 5-year-olds' group. A childcare worker and a special education teacher also work in the group. In our small daycare, we encourage groups to carry out joint projects and other cooperation across group boundaries. In this way, children learn from each other and get to practice interaction with different ages. We value creativity and a positive attitude toward outdoor activities; for example, grilling trips to Ruissalo enrich the children's experiences and strengthen the sense of community. Imagination is the only limit, and the child's best interest is always primary. What do we expect? - Suitable qualifications as an early childhood education teacher - A child-centered and sensitive approach to work - The ability and willingness to work closely with the team and other staff - An open and flexible attitude - Interest in multiculturalism and Slavic culture (proficiency in Russian is not mandatory) What else do we want to tell you? - We have our own special education teacher for early childhood education who helps and supports in daily work. - We ensure that you have regular and implemented SAK time (supervisory/planning time). - Our daycare has its own kitchen and cleaner, which supports calm and high-quality educational work.
