CNC Turner – join a skilled and encouraging team! We are looking for a CNC Turner for a long-term employment relationship in the Turku region for our client. On offer is a versatile role in a machine shop environment, where you will work with various single pieces and small batches. This job is for you if you enjoy diverse machining tasks and want to develop your skills as part of a professional work community. Work is primarily performed in 2 shifts from Monday to Friday, and depending on the production situation, shifts may occasionally occur on weekends. Start date as agreed. Job duties in a nutshell In your role, you will be responsible for operating a CNC lathe and manufacturing various parts according to technical drawings. Production consists mainly of single pieces and smaller batches, so the work offers plenty of variety and the manufacturing of the same part does not repeat from day to day. Modern CNC lathes are in use, and in this role, you will be able to utilize and develop your own expertise in versatile machining work. What do we expect from you? We hope for previous experience in CNC turning. Practical skills and a willingness to learn new things are more important than formal education. We also value knowledge of machining programs, the ability to read technical drawings, and a proactive work approach. Although experience is desired, you do not need to know everything beforehand. New employees are carefully onboarded, and in the initial phase, you will work alongside a more experienced professional. In addition to Finnish, English is also sufficient for the work.
