Responsibilities
- Databricks Architecture & Implementation: Design and implement multi-hop pipeline architectures using Databricks Lakehouse.
- Data Engineering & Development: Build robust ETL pipelines and data models using SQL and/or Python and Scala.
- Consulting & Advisory: Lead client workshops to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Knowledge Transfer & Mentorship: Share expertise with internal teams and clients, fostering adoption of Databricks best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years in data engineering
- 5+ years in consulting
- Proven Databricks project delivery
- Deep hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks
- Experience with multi-hop Databricks pipelines
- Experience with Spark/Hadoop/Flink/Presto
- SQL proficiency
- Python and Scala
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
