About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic fashion professional to join our Global Merchandising team in our Helsinki HQ. Our Global Merchandising Specialist plays an important role in supporting the Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and Bags & Accessories (BA) global merchandising strategy, with seamless execution that aligns with the brand strategy, business objectives, design direction, and global market needs in an omnichannel environment. As a Global Merchandising Specialist for our RTW & BA categories, you will support the global business from a merchandising perspective in order to achieve growth objectives and profit margins for the categories. Cross-functional interaction and collaboration with various internal teams is key to engaging all internal partners in the collection process. Besides team members within the Merchandising function, your closest partners will be the Product Development, Global Retail and Wholesale, Global Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams. In this role, you will be a key player in all collection-building processes from a merchandising perspective. You are a strong fashion visionary who follows fashion and has a deep interest in fashion collections and products. At the same time, you continuously analyse global sales performance and market trends to transform business insights into actions for collection building. To secure commercial success, you will support the creation of a balanced product mix that addresses both current trends and customer needs, achieves growth objectives, and maintains a competitive pricing structure for the collections. To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong interest in the fashion industry and fashion trends. You need to be business-minded and have an interest in numbers and analysis. You will join our Global Merchandising team at our HQ office in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to our Head of Global Merchandising, RTW & BA. Main responsibilities Co-responsible for executing the RTW or BA merchandising strategy in line with the objectives defined by the Head of Global Merchandising. Analyse global sales performance (sell-in / sell-out) and market trends to accurately transform business insights into actions and strategy for seasonal collection building. Execute a balanced product mix through active competitor benchmarking, trend analysis, and data analysis, addressing current trends and customer needs while achieving growth objectives. Operate pricing processes and structures for the collections, following gross margin objectives together with the Merchandising Manager. Prepare and deliver internal presentations supporting seasonal collections and business objectives. Be responsible for creating well-balanced assortment plans for the retail channel. Act as a key operator and communication partner for internal teams regarding collection exclusives, collection changes, and updates. In order to succeed in the role, you have Approximately 2–3 years of experience in collection building, buying, merchandising, and/or category management in an international business environment. A deep interest in fashion or design. Experience working in the fashion, retail, or design industry is seen as an advantage. Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of retail and wholesale mathematics. Ability to quickly understand an organization with a complex value chain and processes. A good understanding of global consumers, different distribution channels, and their needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and in Finnish. A self-starting, proactive way of working with a can-do attitude.
