Child Day Care Worker

The Leppiksen daycare in Paavola has a fixed-term vacancy for a child day care worker until 31 August 2026 or as agreed. The daycare is located in the same multipurpose building as the elementary school, afternoon activities, library and gym. The daycare operates in three groups. The position is in the early childhood education group of 3–4-year-olds at the start of the employment. As a child day care worker you are responsible for the children's needs in daily activities and implement pedagogically oriented care, upbringing and teaching together with other staff. We expect good interaction skills, a positive, proactive and diligent work attitude and enthusiasm to play and move with the children. Qualification required is in accordance with the Child Day Care Act (540/2018) section 28. The salary and terms of employment are determined according to KVTES. The selected candidate must present certificates proving qualifications and a criminal record extract issued under law 504/2002. The job includes a 4-month trial period.
