Welcome to the laboratory nursing role focused on sampling tasks at the Helsinki health center laboratories. HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland’s leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main operation covers the specialty care of the HUS consortium and primary health care in welfare areas affiliated with HUS. We also handle laboratory and imaging operations for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia welfare areas. We operate in eight medical specialties and nationally undertake several demanding studies, plus research and teaching for the university hospital. The Diagnostics Center employs about 3,300 laboratory and imaging professionals across more than 150 locations. We are recruiting two laboratory nurses for permanent positions at the Helsinki health center units to support laboratory services. The positions start on 1 September 2026 or by agreement. As a laboratory nurse in a health-center lab you play an important role in pre-analytical work. You will influence the patient-blood draw to ensure quality and safety, including client-facing guidance, blood draws, gynecological sampling, and heart film capturing. The task-based pay is 3024.27 €/month with potential experience and other supplements. We also use a performance-based pay scheme that can raise your monthly earnings.
