Building Services Specialist

The City of Rovaniemi's Facilities Services Centre is seeking a skilled building services specialist. The position requires a suitable higher-education degree in HVAC engineering (for example, a Bachelor of Engineering from a university of applied sciences) or an earlier institute-level engineering qualification (for example, an HVAC engineer). The role requires expertise and experience in delivering large construction projects. The main duties are site supervision for new-build and renovation investments, developing supervision, and construction client duties. The building services specialist acts as the responsible person for building services in projects. The specialist develops energy management and is responsible for reporting and project documentation. The role includes maintaining HVAC procurement agreements and cooperating with internal and external partners. Success in the role directly affects project quality, costs, schedules and the customer-service experience of users. Initiative, professional competence and cooperation with other Facilities Services Centre specialists are emphasised. The Facilities Services Centre has a work unit of approximately 60 people. The workplace is at Jämytie 33, 96910 Rovaniemi. The terms of employment follow the collective agreement for municipal technical personnel (TS). Working hours are regular office hours. The position-specific salary is €4,209.22, plus a possible increment based on previous work experience. A six-month probationary period applies.
