Coating Technician

TKM TTT Finland Oy coats its own products and those of its customers to improve their performance, reliability and service life. Coatings can increase products’ wear and corrosion resistance, extend maintenance intervals, and adapt existing products to new uses and operating environments. We are seeking a coating technician for our customer TKM TTT Finland Oy for a permanent, full-time position. You will be employed directly by the customer company and become part of a skilled professional community. The work would start as soon as possible once a suitable person is found for the position. Working hours: The work is done in two shifts, Monday to Thursday, 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–00:00. Fridays are always off. As a coating technician, you are responsible for coating manufactured components using various thermal spraying methods. The coatings improve products’ wear and corrosion resistance as well as their friction properties. We expect applicants to have: - The ability to read technical drawings - An interest in coating technology - An understanding of the factors that affect coating quality - Previous experience with coating processes, thermal spraying or other technical production work is valued - Welding skills are considered an advantage Pay is based on the Technology Industry Employees Collective Agreement.
