Practical Nurse

We are seeking a practical nurse for the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County; the primary place of employment is Silmukoti, a residential service for mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation in Vaasa. Additionally, work is performed at another residential service unit, Aaltokoti. The work requires good interaction skills, self-direction, good stress tolerance, and teamwork skills. The position involves three-shift work. Eligibility requirement: Degree of practical nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse's degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the Licensing and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected candidate must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
