About the role

Welcome to Vantaa! We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education social worker to build multidisciplinary cooperation between social workers and teachers. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical activities. You are responsible for educational cooperation with families and strengthening community and inclusion with guardians and other child-family operators. You will develop services and new ways of operating from the perspective of promoting the well-being and community of children and families. You are responsible for promoting children's well-being and guiding children, families, and guardians. The position is at Ylästö Day Care, a 6-group daycare near Ylästö School with spacious facilities and great outdoor opportunities. In the coming term, you will work in a 2-4 year old group with a teacher and childcare worker. We focus on children's peer and emotional skills, participation, sensitivity, and interaction. The daycare has 17 professionals and varying support staff. It is part of the Ylästö unit, managed by a parallel leadership model (personnel and pedagogy). We seek social workers with a positive, professional, strength-based approach. Required: Criminal record extract and tuberculosis clearance. Probation: 6 months. Full-time, 38 h 15 min/week.
