The City of Vantaa is seeking a Class Teacher to serve as a music class teacher at Martinlaakso School. Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with approximately 1,000 students and 130 staff members. Strong interaction and cooperation skills are essential for building trusting relationships with students and guardians and working actively within a team. Requirements
- Eligibility according to Decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of teaching staff

- Multicultural sensitivity and ability to support students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Understanding of S2 (Finnish as a second language) instruction needs
- Strong interaction and cooperation skills
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians
- Commitment to the ProKoulu operating model
- Valid criminal record extract
- Willingness to teach lower grade music to other groups if needed (preferred)
