Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within the data center, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programmes. Ensure the uptime and reliability of critical environment systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance oversight, and risk mitigation. Lead operational excellence by executing and governing key processes, including maintenance procedures, incident reviews (root cause analyses), and change management. Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, vendors, and landlord partners to optimise data center performance and resolve issues. Identify and reduce risk, minimising human error and high-impact incidents year over year. Support emergency-response readiness, acting as an escalation point for facilities-related incidents. Deliver efficiency outcomes by advancing cost-optimisation and energy-efficiency initiatives, and support data-driven operations through the accurate measurement and reporting of key metrics, including power, temperature, and service-level agreement (SLA) performance. High School Diploma or equivalent AND relevant industry experience in a data center or other critical environment facility. Relevant experience in a specialised area (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or controls) or a related field. You will be required to travel between sites as part of this role so a valid driver's license will be required. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) Degree OR certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services Experience working on large scale CE projects
