We are looking for a healthcare assistant for a permanent position. The pool of substitute staff replaces immediate and short-term vacancies between units. The initial workplace is the Inari Home (Männikkö). Staff development is planned as needed and all units will provide the necessary orientation. Varahenkilöillä have pre-planned shifts and different units book staff accordingly. Our units employ communal shift planning, making work-life balance easier. We offer a varied and diverse role, starting salary from 2,762.93 €/month, opportunities for professional development, chance to influence own shifts and temporary unit rotations, supportive supervisors and colleagues, and the possibility to start when it suits you. We expect a positive attitude to work and professional development, good workplace skills, adaptability to changing situations, a customer-focused mindset, and relevant qualifications. The required qualification is a lähihoitajan degree or a prior vocational qualification in the field and registration with JulkiTerhikki and/or JulkiSuosikki (Licensing and supervision authority). Sámi language skills are considered an asset. Terms follow the Sote agreement. A 6-month probation applies. Before starting, a criminal record check under the Social and Health Care Supervisory Act must be provided. A vaccination shield is required per health and infectious disease laws. Apply at Kuntarekry by 31 August 2026 at 15:00. If invited to an interview, original certificates of study and work history and identity documents will be requested. Interviews are conducted remotely via Teams or in person at Lapin keskussairaala. Priority is given to Lapin well-being area employees with severance obligations who meet the qualifications.
