Your task will be to develop and enhance the administrative tasks of the department using new technological tools. The project is temporary and will last two years. In your future role, you will also support the daily work of the department, research activities, assist the research manager, and develop research unit practices as part of a development project, ensuring smooth daily operations in various administrative tasks. You will handle travel bookings and processing of travel expense invoices. You will be responsible for accurate document and record management within your area of responsibility. You will update the department’s website pages. Additionally, you will be a strong support in the work of the research unit; for example, you will manage the publication process of research publications in the systems used by the department according to agreed practices. You will organize practical arrangements for international visitor programs together with the department’s research managers and researchers. You will also coordinate research seminars (practical arrangements, scheduling, communication). Your team is the monetary policy and research department assistant team, which also covers the international research unit. The working languages are Finnish and English. Our office is located in the heart of Helsinki. The position is a fixed-term two-year employment, expected to start in August. The position is classified in the Finnish Central Bank’s salary system at level 13 (task-specific salary component 3068 EUR/month). An additional performance and professional competence-based salary component of up to 48% of the task-specific salary is paid. The personal component is determined based on the selected person’s experience and skills. Typically, it is around 15–20% at the start of the position.
