Coaches

HIFK seeks junior coaches for the 2027 season. We are looking for coaches for 5v5, 8v8 and 11v11 age-group teams for the 2027 season. Our coaches’ key success factors are commitment, long‑term thinking, good organizational and time‑management skills, and a strong value base. For 11v11 roles we require relevant prior coaching experience and training. For 5v5 and 8v8, coaching experience is welcome but above all the ability to communicate smoothly in multiple languages (Finnish, Swedish and English). Successful candidates will also have genuine motivation to inspire children and youth to football, and the ability to recognise players’ different starting levels in terms of fitness and football skills. The work mostly takes place in the evenings and on weekends. In the summer our activities are centered at Väinämöisen field. In winter our teams practice football and futsal at local fields and gymnasiums. We offer support and opportunities to develop under the club’s coaching manager.
