Activity Instructor

We are looking for a sociocultural activity instructor for our team! Your workstations will be the elderly care homes Attendo Anttilanhovi, Attendo Kultakehrä, and Attendo Venla. As a sociocultural activity instructor, you are responsible for the planning and implementation of stimulating activities in cooperation with the care home's nursing staff. You organize stimulating activities for residents aimed at maintaining and improving residents' cognitive, psychological, and social functioning and quality of life. Stimulating activities can include crafting, cooking, various hand-skill maintaining activities such as gardening and art therapy. Only imagination is the limit! What do we hope for from you? - Suitable expertise, experience or education in tasks related to maintaining the customer's social functioning - Vaccination protection as referred to in Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act to protect customers and patients for the duration of the employment relationship - Hygiene passport - Fluent Finnish language skills (at least B1.1 written and oral proficiency) - Criminal record extract In addition, we require an active and self-directed work approach and innovativeness. The position will involve movements between three different Attendo homes (in Hyvinkää and Klaukkala), so please be prepared for that. Work is mainly done on weekday mornings and we can agree on the start date of the employment with you. In the terms of employment and remuneration, we follow the collective agreement of the private social services sector. The salary class for the position is G18B, i.e. €2278.80-2510.83/month depending on years of experience (0-11 years). Please note that we are a smoke-free workplace.
