A helper is a person who provides everyday assistance and companionship to a designated person, such as a child. The helper supports the customer in all kinds of daily chores, such as outdoor activities, daily tasks, taking out the trash, or simply being present and caring. Over time, a close bond can develop between the helper, the customer, and their family. Anyone over 18, from students to retirees, can work as a helper. The most important things are a brisk work ethic and a genuine desire to help. We are looking for trained social and health care nurses to join our team to help families with children Our customers include both children and families. In this position, you will support families in their hectic and busy life situations by providing your valuable time to help manage the family's daily routine. Tasks may range from playing and outdoor activities with children to household chores, such as taking out the trash. Sometimes visits may simply involve spending time together, for example, with a coloring book. What does the helper's job require? A desire to help. Our helpers are united by the wish to spend time with those in need. In this job, you can genuinely influence making our customers' daily lives better and easier. Extra points if you have experience working with families with children! What is the best part of being a helper? We asked our helpers, and this is how they answered: "Unrushed encounters with people and becoming friends with the customer." "Helping another person and a sense of meaningfulness." "Belonging to the Helppy community." As a helper, you get: - Your own designated customer, whom you help with daily chores and provide companionship for - Flexible working hours that fit well, for example, alongside studies or part-time work. Typical working hours are 1-2 times a week for a few hours. - A competitive hourly wage: 14.82-16.03 €/h + additions according to the collective agreement and holiday compensation. - Good advancement opportunities: Based on experience and good customer feedback, you can advance to a pro-helper or guru-helper and receive a pay raise!
