Software Engineer/Software Developer MaxiPoint Oy was founded in 1991 and we have a long tradition in software. Our core activities are solutions related to maintenance and service operations; IBM Maximo MAS (maintenance and materials: management, control, planning, forecasting, visual monitoring, image recognition, AI, etc.). Our customers include industrial, energy production and infrastructure actors. We are now seeking a Software Engineer to work on customer solutions (1-2 people). You may have a few years of experience or be in the final stages of studies. A requirement is proficiency in programming in some language. Additional valued areas include: understanding customer situations and change requests; programming in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python; some knowledge of databases; IT technical skills; possibly experience with enterprise systems such as Maximo or other maintenance/ERP systems; proactive customer service mindset and attitude; disciplined, precise and independent approach; good Finnish proficiency. The selected candidate will have an interesting and varied role in our company. The position is located in Tampere. We work as a team from our office with remote connections to customers.
