Shift Manager - Stora Enso Oyj - Kouvola, Finland

Stora Enso Anjalankoski Oy Anjalankoski plants consist of a paper mill producing book, special newsprint and magazine paper, a cardboard mill producing folding boxboard for consumer packaging, as well as fiber and energy production. We belong to Stora Enso's Cartonboard business area and employ about 450 professionals in their field. We are looking for a shift manager (TAM37/ 12 h) for the cardboard mill for a permanent employment contract. Success in the position requires several years of experience in managing a production department, safety culture and daily operations. You will act as a supervisor for the people working in the shift. You will be responsible for things such as: Shift safety behavior, operation and profitability; Accuracy of reporting events and deviations made during the shift; Shift resource planning; Development of shift personnel's competence and the induction process. We expect from you: University degree AMK, YAMK or DI; Experience in production process and/or maintenance; Ability to solve problems under pressure; Experience of Lean thinking, continuous improvement or similar operating models; Good people skills and fluent communication with different stakeholders; Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
