Personal Assistant

A meaningful and valuable role awaits as a Personal Assistant with Validia Oy in Vaasa. You will support clients within the disability services, helping with tasks at home or outside the home, including hobbies, studies, household chores, or enabling leisure activities. The aim is to help clients live at home as long as possible and to support an active, fulfilling daily life while preserving their self‑determination. The job offers flexibility, with shifts arranged according to the client’s needs and preferences. No formal professional training or prior experience is required, though those are welcomed. We provide a collective agreement-based salary under the Private Social Services TES, pay grade G15A, flexible working hours, and opportunities to learn about disability work and care. A thorough orientation is provided according to your skills, and you will be part of a supportive, good-humored team. The role may also lead to further studies enabling employment in other social and health care roles. We expect genuine interest in assisting work, a positive and cheerful attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and sufficient Finnish language skills (other language skills are a plus). Vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening under §55 are required, and a criminal background check is performed.
