About the role

Join a multidisciplinary team. In this role you will assess, investigate and treat moderately complex mental health symptoms in children, while supporting parents. You will serve as the professional expert in your field, bringing your expertise to child assessment and care. The nurse's responsibilities include monitoring medication in collaboration with the family and the physician. You will work independently as well as in pairs and as part of a team, with close cooperation with a multidisciplinary network. The job requires independent planning and scheduling; flexible hours are available and supervision is provided. We view training opportunities positively. Remote work is arranged as appropriate. Workplace: Lasten mielenterveyspalvelut, Perhekeskus Purje, Mäntynummenkuja 7, 08500 Lohja. Working hours: 37 h 45 min/week. Permanent position. Required qualification: licensed nurse. Experience and knowledge in child and family mental health work and ability to work in diverse networks are required. Also required: self-driven work approach and good organization. Vaccination protection as per infectious diseases law, tuberculosis screening as per the same law, and police record extract as per law 741/2023 §28. Random drug test may be requested per the substance abuse program. We value experience in child and/or adolescent psychiatric nursing and in assessing and treating child mental health.
