Nuutisarka activity center provides stimulating, client-oriented daytime activities for adults with intellectual disabilities, aiming for community spirit and ensuring that all clients can do things together, participate in events, and organize activities. The goal of the activities is to support clients' adult life skills, functional capacity, independence, and inclusion in society. Nuutisarka activity center offers professional guidance and care, taking into account the individual needs of each client. Clients are met in the unit as equal individuals. Nuutinpaja (70 places), Nuutinkulma (20 places), and Nuutinsoppi (8 places) operate under the same roof at the Nuutisarka activity center. Nuutinpaja provides daytime activities, occupational activities at the center, and supported employment under the guidance of a job coach. The main focus at Nuutinpaja is on work-related tasks. Nuutinkulma primarily serves daytime activity clients, with a focus on creativity, handicrafts, music, and sports. Nuutinsoppi's daytime activities take place in a small group and offer individual solutions for people requiring strong support. As an instructor, you provide professional guidance and care, taking into account the individual needs of each client you meet clients as equal individuals you plan various trips together with the clients additionally, the medication of clients is part of your duties. To be selected for the position, you must be a title-protected practical nurse (social care) or a social worker licensed in Finland. Additionally, you must have completed LOVe medication administration. You have a client-oriented mindset, good interaction skills, an understanding and tolerance for constant work interruptions, and you work with a rehabilitative approach. Experience with people requiring strong support is considered an advantage. We hope that you can start in the position as soon as possible. The substitution continues until 31.5.2027. A probationary period will be applied to the position, which is half the duration of the substitution. The working time is full-time, averaging 38 h 15 min/week. Shifts are mainly morning shifts on weekdays, with working hours between 8:00 and 16:00. The selected person must have valid vaccine protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016).
