About the role

Kaiku HR is seeking several workers for its client RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions) for significant shipbuilding industry projects at the Rauma shipyard. Now you have the opportunity to join a team building modern icebreakers, defense force vessels, and world-class specialty ships. Each of these vessels is a masterpiece of technology and sustainable development. We are currently looking for MIG/MAG WELDERS for the shipyard. In this role, you will manually weld smaller parts, such as protrusions and small loops, where welding robots are not suitable. We expect from you: - Welding qualification class 136 (vertical/overhead) or the ability to obtain the qualification if necessary. - Work experience in the metal industry and/or shipbuilding industry - Responsibility for the quality of your own work - A diligent and energetic attitude toward work - A valid occupational safety card and hot work permit - Readiness for 3-shift work Please note that selected individuals will undergo a basic personnel security clearance.
