Are you an electrical installation professional motivated by new challenges? We are looking for a power supply station installer to strengthen our projects at the Koskela Depot and the Vantaa tramway. This is a technically demanding and socially significant project where you will take responsibility and work with top experts in the field. Construction of the Koskela depot began in January 2025 in Helsinki. The project implements the depot's track and electrical railway infrastructure, as well as the systems and equipment required for tram maintenance, including the procurement and installation of maintenance equipment. Electrical railway work includes the construction of the overhead line system for the entire depot area, implementation of power supply systems, and track electricity cabling and control systems. Additionally, the project utilizes circular economy solutions. Vantaa's first light rail project in history covers a 19 km route from Mellunmäki via Tikkurila to Aviapolis and the airport. The construction of the eastern section between Mellunmäki and Tikkurila includes the tram system, stops, driving lanes, bike paths, sidewalks, and underground infrastructure, such as water supply lines and foundation reinforcements. Additionally, the project involves building new bridges and other structures supporting tram operations. Tasks and responsibilities As a power supply station installer, you will be responsible for the installation and connection work of power supply stations as part of the railway construction team. You will work with medium-voltage and DC systems as well as transformers and participate in the implementation of projects in their various stages up to commissioning. Safe working practices, cooperation, and the smooth progress of projects according to the schedule are emphasized in the work. We expect from you - At least three years of work experience in power station or substation work. - An independent, responsible, and precise approach to work. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in changing situations. - Good teamwork and communication skills in Finnish. - A desire to learn more about our challenging railway projects and an eagerness to develop into a top professional in the field. - Commitment to high-quality, safe, and responsible construction. - Safety-related training required in the industry is considered an advantage.
