Warehouse Worker

We are looking for a warehouse worker for a production environment at a metal industry company in Nurmijärvi. The work involves collecting, packing, and palletizing metal products in indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as moving finished loads by hand and with forklifts. All heaviest lifts are done with machine assistance, and we hope for a safety-oriented way of working—rather slowly than rushed. Sawing of metal products is also done at this workplace and can become part of your work in the future, but primarily a person with warehouse skills or someone aiming to become one is sought. To succeed in the task, you need a proactive attitude, enthusiasm for work, and a desire to learn new things. Previous experience in warehouse work or the metal industry is an advantage; additionally, you need routine tolerance and a safe working approach. Large and heavy pipes and plates are handled in the work, so if the mere thought of a large steel pipe terrifies you, this may not be the job of your dreams. The employment is fixed-term and lasts for one year. Work is done on weekdays in two shifts, alternating weeks between 6:00 and 22:00.
