Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities
  • Maintain and update project work plans and activity trackers
  • Serve as primary operational liaison between UNU-WIDER, DNFC, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress against outputs, indicators, and milestones
  • Prepare narrative reports and ensure quality assurance
  • Monitor financial implementation (budget vs. expenditures)
  • Coordinate administrative processes including procurement, contracting, and logistics
  • Liaise with consultants and technical experts
  • Facilitate capacity-building activities and training programmes
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder platforms
  • Contribute to communication and knowledge products
  • Conduct background research on development priorities and funding opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, public policy, development studies, finance, climate change, or a related field
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in project or programme coordination/support (with Bachelor's degree)
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in project or programme coordination/support (with Master's degree)
  • Experience in supporting implementation of development projects
  • Experience in monitoring, reporting, and administrative coordination
  • Experience working with government institutions, international organizations, or development partners
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
