Breakfast Chef - Star Arctic Oy - Inari, Finland

We are looking for a reliable and organized Breakfast Chef who understands that breakfast is one of the most important meals in a hotel restaurant. Since every hotel guest starts their day with breakfast, the service needs to be well prepared, fresh, efficient, and consistently high quality every morning. In this role, you will be responsible for breakfast preparation, buffet setup, service flow, refilling, cleanliness, food safety, and shift readiness. You will work independently during breakfast service, so good timing, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality under pressure are essential. We are looking for someone with previous experience working with hotel breakfast buffets and a good understanding of how to organize the service efficiently, making sure guests have everything they need for a good start to the day. What we expect from you: - Previous experience in a professional kitchen, particularly in breakfast buffet service - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining standards, quality, and pace - Practical knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling, and cleaning procedures - Good teamwork and communication skills, along with sufficient English skills - Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - Ability to work independently when needed, including working alone in the kitchen at times, monitoring breakfast stock levels, and supporting other kitchen tasks when required.
