The unit provides clinical neuropsychological services across the HUS area, participates in research and university teaching, and offers neuropsychological consultations for neurology, neurosurgery, ENT and other somatic specialties. The Neuropsychology specialist unit also develops neuropsychology services nationally using digital solutions. We are seeking a neuropsychologist for a permanent position at Hyvinkää Hospital’s neurology outpatient clinic and ward. We offer a varied and interesting role with the support of a skilled neuropsychology community in our innovative university hospital unit. Your duties include neuropsychological examinations and assessments for adult patients, neuropsychological rehabilitation and guidance, participation in multidisciplinary teams, consultations, and supervision of students. Hyvinkää Hospital provides an engaging work environment where the neuropsychologist plays a key role in the neurological care pathway. Successful performance requires solid experience working with adult neurological patients. We value collaboration and communication skills and a strong interest in developing neuropsychological services. If needed, licensed psychologists with sufficient neuropsychological background and adult neurology experience may be considered on a fixed-term basis. A free bus from Helsinki to Hyvinkää is provided by HUS; some work may be done remotely. Applicants may be interviewed before the closing date.
