Special Educational Needs Teacher

The position is located in hospital education on the children’s ward of developmental psychiatry. The role requires proficiency in interaction and communication methods, knowledge of organizing individualized student support, familiarity with guidance methods, and knowledge of using plain-language materials. Some students study by activity areas, others by subject areas. The qualification required is special education teaching qualifications as defined by the Act on Qualifications for Educational Personnel (986/98). If qualified applicants are unavailable, the position may be filled with a non-qualified candidate. The app must include proof of qualification; originals will be requested in a potential interview. A background check under Act 504/2002 is required before taking up the post. A drug test certificate may be requested. A 6-month trial period applies.
