We are looking for wet painters for our client, Lainisalo Defence Painting Oy, in Kaarina. In this role, you will work with industrial surface treatment and be responsible for the wet painting of metal parts as well as other painting shop tasks. Lainisalo Defence Painting has started a strategic partnership with Stera Technologies Oy, through which surface treatment operations are being expanded, and new production facilities and modern painting lines are being commissioned. This collaboration creates a sustainable foundation for operational development and new jobs for surface treatment professionals. Your Workday As a wet painter, you will work with the surface treatment and painting of industrial metal parts in a modern painting environment. Your workday will mainly consist of pre-treating parts, wet painting, and other painting production tasks. The work is physical and requires a precise and careful approach. You will work as part of a team, but the role also emphasizes an independent working style and initiative. The work begins in July, and the working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Initially, work will be performed in a single shift, but the position requires readiness for 2-shift work in the future. We Value * Experience in wet painting or industrial surface treatment * Understanding of surface treatment processes * Experience in, for example, sandblasting, grit blasting, or shot blasting is considered an advantage * A positive attitude, a careful and precise approach to work, and a proactive mindset * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Fluent skills in Finnish * Forklift driving experience and basic IT skills are considered an advantage We Offer At Lainisalo Defence Painting Oy, you will work in a financially stable company where employee well-being and a positive working spirit are key cornerstones of the company's operations.
