The Hitachi Energy team is advancing the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure. This role leads and develops the Cybersecurity and Advanced Services portfolio for Grid Automation Service Europe, transforming customer needs, cybersecurity regulations, standards, and market developments into standardized, scalable, and commercially viable service offerings for OT environments such as Substation Automation and Control Center systems. You will work with Service, Sales, Engineering, cybersecurity specialists, and country organizations to strengthen and harmonize cybersecurity capabilities across Europe. Lead and further develop the Cybersecurity and Advanced Services portfolio within Service Europe, Grid Automation. Define and standardize cybersecurity services across Europe, including scope, delivery models, responsibilities, prerequisites, and service boundaries. Drive offerings across OT cybersecurity areas such as assessments, system hardening, vulnerability and patch management, backup and recovery, monitoring, and incident response. Translate customer requirements, cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and market developments into practical, scalable service offerings. Support Sales and Tendering with service scoping, solution mapping, technical responses, customer presentations, workshops, and sales enablement. Develop reusable methods, templates, playbooks, and tools to enable consistent quoting, selling, and delivery of cybersecurity services across European countries. Build and strengthen delivery capabilities through harmonization, technical guidance, training, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with service engineers and cybersecurity specialists. Drive continuous portfolio development, including cybersecurity assessments, IEC 62443 maturity, incident response and recovery capabilities, technology and vendor evaluation, and alignment with the global cybersecurity organization. Your background includes a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Automation, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field, several years of OT/ICS cybersecurity, SCADA, industrial or substation automation, cybersecurity services, or technical service/product management experience, strong understanding of OT environments and regulatory frameworks, practical knowledge of network segmentation, system hardening, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, backup and recovery, monitoring, and incident response, knowledge of IEC 62443 is desirable, and fluency in English with willingness to travel within Europe. Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Several years of professional experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, SCADA, industrial or substation automation, cybersecurity services, or technical service/product management.
  • Strong understanding of OT environments, critical infrastructure, and the differences between traditional IT cybersecurity and cybersecurity for industrial control systems.
  • Practical knowledge of key cybersecurity topics such as network segmentation, system hardening, vulnerability and patch management, endpoint protection, backup and recovery, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62443 is highly desirable; experience with ISO 27001, NIS2, or other relevant cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Experience defining or managing technical services, service portfolios, or solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear service scopes and compelling customer value propositions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Service, Engineering, Sales, Product Management, partners, customers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent English and willingness to work in an international environment and travel within Europe when required
