The City of Helsinki is seeking a Project Manager for the facility services of the social, health, and rescue services, starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement. In collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, you will coordinate the initial data for new construction and renovation projects of units within the core operations of social and health services, with a particular focus on fire stations managed by the rescue department. You will also be responsible for guiding the design and implementation of these projects. To succeed in this role, you need a self-directed, solution-oriented, and active approach with strong organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and networking abilities. You should have expertise and previous experience in facility projects, an understanding of construction phases, and the needs of user parties during those phases. Experience in guiding design and a service-oriented mindset are essential. You must be able to build constructive cooperation within the sector and with external stakeholders, anticipate future changes, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Before starting the employment, consent to a personal security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014) is required. The role offers a hybrid working model with flexibility to work remotely or at the Kallio administrative building on Toinen Linja. Requirements
- Higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering in construction or equivalent)

- Previous experience in facility design for social, health, and rescue services
- Experience in municipal or regional administration (merit)
- Consent to a personal security clearance
