About Us We are a 23-bed ward and offer demanding rehabilitation mainly for working-age patients who have suffered a cerebrovascular accident or brain injury. Patients are transferred to our ward directly from hospital care, and the average rehabilitation period on our ward lasts a month. Our ward is located in the Synapsia building on Nordenskiöldinkatu, from where we will move to the new Laakso joint hospital in 2028. About the Job Working at the Neurological Rehabilitation Ward is interesting and versatile rehabilitative nursing work that offers professional development opportunities for both new colleagues and experienced veterans. You will receive an individual orientation for your work, during which you are not counted towards the unit's strength. This allows you to focus calmly on learning and mastering the tasks. You will receive support from active supervisors, and experienced nursing professionals will be by your side, and you will always have competent colleagues to rely on. The work is multidisciplinary, and we work closely with experts from different fields, which enriches everyday life and provides a broad perspective on the holistic care of patients. Neuro-nursing is rewarding and meaningful, where you can influence patients' recovery and see the results of your work concretely. The work emphasizes guiding, active, and interactive cooperation with rehabilitants and their relatives. The position-specific practical nurse salary is €2,777.91/month. A six-month probationary period is followed in new employment relationships. Eligibility Requirements Practical nurse degree or basic care nurse degree. Language requirements: good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish. We require vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate for pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
