Hannakoti is located in Dragsfjärd on the beautiful Kimitoön, located 10 km from Dalsbruk and 15 km from Kimito. Hannakoti houses 44 residents and our unit consists of three wards. We provide institutional care, 24-hour care, and short-term care. As a nurse you are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the resident’s rehabilitative care in a holistic manner and for developing the quality of care in your own unit. You are responsible for the entirety of the resident’s nursing care, including assessment and coordination of care using the RAI system. You lead and guide practical nurses, care aides, and nursing staff in their care work, and you are responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the resident’s medication management in collaboration with the physician. You are at the center of multidisciplinary collaboration and maintain active contact with relatives and other collaborators. In addition you maintain your own professional competence, supervise students and orient new employees. For the job, a recruitment allowance of 8% of the duty-related salary is available for six months from the start of employment. What we expect from you We expect you to have broad expertise in pharmacotherapy and good knowledge of the pharmacotherapy process. The job requires handling multiple task bundles and continuously monitoring and evaluating the resident’s overall wellbeing. You are prepared to acquire new knowledge and develop your competence and to use the information systems required in the job. You know the legislation governing the activity and work accordingly. We value a reliable, careful and humorous team player who dares to bring forward new ideas and lead the team. In addition we require good teamwork and interaction skills and good oral and written ability in one of the following languages: Swedish and Finnish.
