Infrastructure Construction Professional

NRC Group is the most ambitious infrastructure builder in the Nordics, employing about 2,000 professionals in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. We are currently running several projects, the largest being the Program Alliance project (West Helsinki, West Harbour, and Viikki-Malmi tram alliances). We are seeking infrastructure construction professionals for tramway projects in the capital region. Specific titles and descriptions are determined by your expertise. Roles are available in earthworks, railway construction, and project support. As a Site Manager/Responsible: - Work within a large alliance organization with partners, subcontractors, designers, and clients. - Responsible for daily management and coordination of a large site complex, including work planning and site leadership. Act as a supervisor for site foremen and leaders. - Responsible for occupational safety, environmental issues, procurement, and quality management. - Close cooperation with local stakeholders and properties. - Requires presence on site. As a Project Engineer: - Work within a large alliance organization. - Solution-oriented support ensuring site operational conditions. - Tasks include schedule control, quality management, safety, financial monitoring, and stakeholder cooperation. - Guide safety, environmental, and procurement preparations. - Requires presence at the alliance BigRoom and on site. What we expect: - Relevant education (Construction Foreman, Civil Engineer, Master of Science in Technology) or several years of relevant experience. - Good leadership and interpersonal skills, team player. - Several years of experience in infrastructure or railway construction and site management (Site Manager or Foreman). - Experience in demanding street environments. - Proactive, honest attitude and will to lead demanding projects with continuous improvement in mind. - Previous experience in tramway construction is valued. - B-class driver's license. - Finnish and English language skills.
