We are looking for an experienced, collaborative and proactive Studio Manager to join our dynamic RTW & B&A Design team at Marimekko’s HQ in Helsinki. As our Studio Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination, planning, and day-to-day operations of the RTW & B&A Design team. This hands-on role combines operational ownership, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, requiring close partnership with both internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of the design process. This is both a coordinating and team leadership role, where you will support the team’s work according to the Master Process schedule while also acting as the formal line manager for the RTW and B&A Design team members. The role ensures that the team has the structure, processes, capabilities, and support required to deliver high-quality design work efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will report to the Design Director, RTW and B&A, and Chief Creative Officer. Main responsibilities: Responsible for the people leadership and development of Marimekko’s Design RTW and B&A team Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Own and coordinate team’s calendar(s) Drive continuous improvement across design processes and ways of working Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment In order to succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who has 4+ years of experience acting as the formal people manager, preferably for a design team Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail and ability to perform under pressure A team player with a positive can-do attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
