Russian language interpreter (Finnish–Russian)

Suomen Tulkkauspalvelu is a company providing interpreting and translation services. We serve businesses, the public sector and private customers. Due to growing demand, we are looking for skilled Russian-language interpreters. Duties You will work as an interpreter between Finnish and Russian in various customer-service, business and official-authority situations. Interpreting assignments are carried out in person, by phone or remotely. We require - An interpreter qualification (for example, a vocational qualification in community interpreting or a university of applied sciences or university degree in interpreting). - Excellent Finnish and Russian language skills. - Compliance with the professional ethical principles of interpreting and the duty of confidentiality. - Reliability and flexibility with schedules. The following are considered an advantage - Experience in legal, healthcare or official-authority interpreting. - Membership in the Register of Legal Interpreters. - Knowledge of other languages. We offer freelance assignments, flexible working hours, varied tasks, support and orientation. Compensation is paid by the hour.
