We seek expertise in primary school arts and crafts teaching, experience in grade-level co-teaching, and a desire to develop teaching arrangements in the spirit of reformed learning support. A flexible, solution-oriented approach, strong teamwork skills, and experience in S2 (Finnish as a second language) teaching are considered an advantage. The position is for the 5th grade. Mukkula Primary School is a school providing basic education for grades 1-9 with over 730 students, located in the Mukkula district about four kilometers from the city center. Mukkula Kindergarten and Mukkula Library operate on the same plot and maintain close cooperation. There are excellent sports and outdoor recreation opportunities next to the school. In addition to general education grades 1-9, our school community includes special classes, special classes for demanding multidisciplinary support, preparatory education for immigrants, and cooperation with pre-primary education. Emphasized physical education is available from the 3rd grade onwards. In our diverse school community, we look to the future hopefully by working together. A good working atmosphere and professional cooperation between different actors are our strengths. The eligibility requirement is the qualification of a class teacher. Teacher qualifications are determined in accordance with Decree No. 986/98 on the eligibility requirements for teaching staff. If no eligible applicants are found, the position may be filled by an applicant who does not have the official qualification. The performance of the duties requires good proficiency in the Finnish language.
