Product Owner

About the Role\nAs Product Owner – Platform, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the shared services that power the EcoOne suite, including identity, hierarchies, our design system, data and analytics foundations, and a dedicated AI platform service. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture and internal product teams to turn approved roadmap initiatives into high-quality, measurable and supportable software deliverables. This is a high-impact platform role where the work you deliver is built once and used everywhere, improving products across EcoOne and helping thousands of customers from day one. You will help us build an AI-native product suite, moving customers from compliance to visibility to prediction, and ensuring AI becomes a first-class platform capability rather than a bolt-on feature.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTranslate roadmap initiatives into clear, deliverable product solutions, epics, features and user stories.\nOwn day-to-day product delivery, ensuring engineering teams have the clarity, direction and timely product decisions they need to deliver effectively.\nKeep backlogs healthy and prioritised, balancing customer needs, support issues, technical constraints and delivery goals.\nUse AI tools such as Anthropic Claude and other provided platforms to accelerate specification writing, backlog grooming, data analysis and QA acceptance.\nContribute to solution design with Product Management, Engineering and Architecture, bringing technical fluency and a practical understanding of AI/LLM concepts.\nManage scope during delivery, protect agreed objectives and timelines, and escalate significant scope changes where strategic decisions are needed.\nCoordinate release readiness, ensuring documentation, release notes, operational preparation and support plans are in place.\nDefine acceptance criteria, support testing and quality assurance, and ensure delivered capabilities are measurable after release.\nWhat we\'re looking for:\n2+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering software products, ideally within platform, infrastructure or shared-services environments.\nA fast-moving, curious and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to understand the “why” behind product decisions and keep delivery moving at pace.\nConfident daily use of AI tools to write specs, groom backlogs, analyse data and improve delivery speed and quality.\nStrong technical fluency, with confidence discussing APIs, data models, system architecture and delivery trade-offs with Engineering and Architecture teams.\nThe ability to influence without authority, driving decisions across multiple product and engineering teams with competing priorities.\nExperience with AI-built or AI-designed product features, including an understanding of what makes an AI feature production-ready rather than just a prototype.\nAwareness of AI governance, data-handling considerations and regulated, multi-region product environments such as GDPR, SOC2 or similar.\nOur Benefits:\nWe offer a variety of global benefits which are listed below!
