Product Manufacturer

Valio Turenki factory produces fresh products for consumer markets and for other food industry customers. We process about 47 million kilograms of cream products, dairy products, UHT milk, oatmeal drinks and baby foods annually. About 140 Valio employees work in Turenki. We are now looking for two product manufacturers to join our manufacturing team in Turenki on a permanent basis. The role is varied and interesting within the food industry, and your work will be visible in Valio’s quality and responsibly produced products. As a product manufacturer your duties include responsibility for receiving milk and for the production, sterilisation and cleaning processes; quality assurance of masses and raw materials, cleaning of production areas, cleanliness monitoring and related tasks; reporting and system entries for your area; reacting to and ensuring actions in disturbances/interruptions, systematic problem solving and high-quality handling of deviations; scheduling production based on production planning; ensuring smooth process flow while meeting delivery, quality, food safety and occupational safety criteria; active collaboration with stakeholders. You are the right person if you can work independently, have suitable education (e.g. food industry, process engineering, bio and food technology) and prior experience from UHT and/or food industry; good collaboration and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and willingness to work in a team; initiative and responsible attitude to work tasks; a pragmatic approach to work and food safety; proficiency with SAP, MMC and Microsoft Office; a proactive attitude to developing work and operations. The job follows MVL/Meipake collective agreement and is a 3-shift role.
